Engine(s)

This boat is equipped with two Volvo TAMD 61A, 6 cylinder diesel engines of 306 HP each. The engine hours are approximately 1780.
All diesel and fuel filters have been regularly replaced and a complete new set was installed approximately 20 engine hours ago.
Internal engine anodes and other serviceable items were also checked at this time.
Both engines have had substantial stainless steel braces fitted to the exhaust mixers to prevent these shearing from the engine block thus eliminating a common failure point in these engines.
The original mild steel fuel tanks were replaced by new stainless steel tanks approximately 5 years ago.

Construction:

The normal fixed and heavy fibreglass radar hoop has been replaced by a light stainless steel pylon which carries the radar scanner, GPS aerials etc. and this pylon can be simply folded down by one person permitting instant access to inland waterways normally denied to such boats.

The interior is finished throughout in teak and the cockpit and bathing platform are teak-decked.

Accommodation

The forward master cabin is fitted with a shaped full sized double bed (recent new mattress) and is equipped with a built in wardrobe, eye level cupboards and two low level lockers. Two large drawers provide storage under the bed and a hatch provides access to a large additional storage space under the bed itself. A door provides private access to the heads.

The guest cabin is located on the starboard side and contains two full sized single berths. Storage space is generous and consists of a full length wardrobe, eye level cupboards, a 2 drawer bedside cabinet and additional large under-bed storage spaces.

The saloon is entered from the cockpit through double sliding doors and is carpeted throughout in luxury blue pile carpet which was replaced about one year ago. Seating consists of an L shaped settee behind the helm position with generous under-seat storage and matching twin nesting stools. The layout has been modified on the port side to provide extensive cupboard space and also an attractive built in wine rack which sits next to the large fitted cocktail cabinet.

The galley is to the port side and the custom-moulded Corian work top contains a stainless steel sink and gas hob with spark ignition. To the rear are plate racks and food storage cupboards. A 12/240 volt refrigerator and gas oven/grill are flush mounted below the work top and an extractor fan is fitted.

The heads contains a wash basin with mirror with surround lights, generous cupboard space, a pump out toilet and a powerful thermostatically controlled shower which drains to a closed circuit pump system. The floor is fitted with teak grilled decking.

The aft cockpit is floored throughout in teak and will comfortably seat 8 or 10 people for an apero while the hoop supported canvas with its many windows allows the area to be used in all weathers. A central heating vent in this area means that it remains useable even in winter. A large hinged hatch provides access to the enormous lazarette which provides storage typically for the semi-RIB, folding cycles etc.
An access ladder on the rear wall of the cockpit seating provides access to the large teak decked bathing platform which is equipped with swim ladder and ‘snap davits’ which allow the semi-RIB tender to be conveniently stored against the transom whilst under way.
