TARPON 42 RECLA BUILT 1991 ,used as a hire boat till approx 2000 then sold to private owner, he started the refit/upgrade of this boat by replacing the engine gearbox ,drive shaft and propeller. the engine is a 165 hp 6 cylinder sole diesel. this has proved to be very reliable and economic unit, giving lots of power when needed but still returning good economy on rivers and canals. the rest of the interior of the boat has been changed from the concept of hire fleets,(get as many people in as possible, 12) to the present design, confort and space for the owner and visiting friends. so this boat now has one grand cabin with walk around double bed, fitted wardrobes and cupboards on each side, second smaller guest cabin, and pull out double bed in grand salon area. there is a fully fitted kitchen/dining area at the front of the boat .seperate bathroom with toilet (masserator) shower and hand wash basin.

165 hp 6 cylinder sole diesel. new 2002 1850 running hours, lots of power for river or sea use but still economy on canals.

270 watt solar panels, 1600 watt petrol generator, diesel fired blown air heating. electric heaters, satellite tv, radio, disc/tape cassette player, air condititioning to main salon. kitchen fitted withe 3 ring gas hob, oven, extractor fan,fridge/freezer, microwave,dishwasher. automatic washing machine.
